Explanation of first line:
flf2a - "magic number" for file identification
=     - hardblank--like a blank, but won't smush
16    - height of a character
10    - height of a character, not including descenders
32    - max line length (after comments) -- currently in "W"
1     - default smushmode for this font
21    - number of comment lines

Note: this font connects smoothly together, and to that end there
are two sets of lowercase letters.  The "normal" set is where
lowercase letters should be, and the "other" set, for use after
lowercase b, o, v and w, replaces what I thought were the least
essential characters in ASCII.  To use these, run your text
through UNIX sed(1) with a long series of replace commands.
